Notes
Paradox
ideology
is
founded
upon
the
notion
that a
statement
or
words
seem
contradictory
to
common
sense
but
perhaps
is
true
.
Paradox
defies
explanation
by
confounding
language
.
Paradox
bewilders
the
linear
thinker
and
thus
,
stimulates
the
perceiving
human
mind
.
Life
is
a
seeming
paradox
. This
thesis
attempts
to
provide
the
reader
with an
insightful
and
analytical
assessment
of
humanity
and its
diverse
nature
.
I
initially
examine
the
relationship
between
humanity
and
nature
by
offering
a
simplified
and
wholistic
interpretation
of the
symbolic
essence
of
diversity
,
integration
and
interdependence
.
I
have
sought
to
express
my
perception
of these
notions
using
the
conceptual
tool
called
the
paradox
. The
insight
generated
from
paradox
ideology
hopefully
will
help
the
reader
gain
a
centered
perspective
on the
messages
contained
herein
. A
centered
perspective
allows
the
reader
to
fully
perceive
the
diversity
and
integrity
of
life
in its
essence
.
I
intend
to
provide
an
understandable
perspective
of
diversity
,
integration
and
interdependence
as
laws
of
existence
that
help
humans
define
natural
living
.
I
will
provide
an
introspective
view
of the
integrated
components
of the
human
being
as
well
. The
essential
workings
of the
individual
human
are
dependent
upon
the
integration
of
body
,
mind
and
emotions
. These
uniquely
diverse
components
integrate
to
form
complex
personas
and
belief
systems
, that
gel
into
inner
beings
that
perceive
and
learn
. These
beings
,
ego
and
spirit
,
form
the
basis
for
all
human
perceptions
,
behaviors
and
interactions
.
I
continue
my
perspective
into an
examination
of the
root
aspects
of
human
culture--communal
living
,
identity
and
homeland
.
Human
cultures
were
born
out
of the
necessity
for
organization
.
Cooperation
is
the
backbone
of
all
cultures
.
My
thesis
continues
with a
case
study
of the
diverse
political
.
economic
and
social
variables
that
affected
communal
living
in
south
Italy
. An
additional
case
study
on
European
Union
agricultural/environmental
policy
follows
to
demonstrate
the
ultra
important
needs
and
demands
that
ensue
in the
integration
process
of
collective
nations
. In
both
cases
, the
reader
should
note
the
difficulties
humanity
experiences
when
attempting
to
organize
and
cooperate
even
for
basic
staples
of
living
.
Finally
,
I
conclude
my
project
with a
discussion
of
my
personal
perceptions
of the
impediments
and
variables
that
affect
the
possibility
of
sustaining
ecological
and
human
life
in this
age
of
globalization
.
Can
humanity
balance
the
urge
to
compete
with the
need
to
cooperate
? Will
humanity
be
able
to
reverse
the
ancient
trend
of
coddling
the
comfortable
while
ignoring
the
afflicted
?
I
hope
the
reader
will be
able
to
capture
the
essence
of the
momentum
of
human
social
progress
in
order
to
determine
for
him/her
self
whether
humanity
is
progressing
towards
sustainable
growth
and or
selfdestruction
in its
quest
for
survival
in this
current
age
of
globalization
.
