Purpose
: The
purpose
of this
study
is
to
determine
if
students
will
improve
their
social
relationships
among
peers
by
learning
to
use
kind
words
,
actions
, and
conflict
resolution
techniques
taught
by
whole
class
instruction
and
modeled
regularly
by the
classroom
teacher
. This
project
will also
determine
if the
students
can
improve
their
ability
to
recognize
letters
through
cooperative
games
using
learned
positive
words
and
behavior
.
Finally
, this
project
will
determine
if the
focus
group
acquires
knowledge
of the
letters
better
than the
students
who
do
not
participate
in
cooperative
reading
games
.
