school
. He
went
to
Officer
Candidate
School
and
graduated
in
August
of
1969
. He was
placed
in a
vehicle
maintenance
company
and was
transferred
to
Bien
Hoa
in
Vietnam
in
1970
. There he
became
the
Commanding
Officer
of the
support
battalion
company
. He
describes
what a
typical
day
entailed
while
in
Vietnam
, as
well
as
some
more
memorable
events
.
Cox
was
sent
back
the
United
States
where
he
worked
in
Aberdeen
,
Md
. in
Operational
Planning
until
his
discharge
in
September
of
1973
. He
went
on to
work
at
U.S
.
Steel
.
